Gallery 50 was the first gallery to open in 2013, and it continues to be curated by Destination ARTS! lead curator, Marjorie Tressler and operated by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro.  It features exceptional paintings, photography, etchings, jewelry, and more, from some of the most highly respected artists from around the country.

February Featured Artist at Gallery 50: Hans Guerin.

Hans Guerin’s work has been displayed and won awards in exclusive exhibitions and competitions throughout the United States and internationally, including Greenhouse Gallery’s Salon International, the Legacy Gallery’s Scottsdale Salon, the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society’s “Best of America” salons, and the Oil Painters of America National show. Guerin’s artwork has also appeared several books, including three volumes of Northlight Book’s “Strokes of Genius,” the American Art Collector, the Artist, Art and Beyond, and the International Artist Magazine, which featured a 10-page spread on Guerin and his artist wife, Beth de Loiselle. Several new works by Guerin have recently been added to Gallery 50.

Current Gallery Shows

Gallery 50’s newest window installation is “All About Color,” featuring Chambersburg contemporary artist Marti Yeager. Artwork by local artists Donna Mason, Carol Miller, and Liz Hurley is also on display. Continuing by popular demand, “Fin, Feathers, and Fur” featuring artists Carol Wilks and Beth De’ Loiselle will continue to be featured in the main gallery with new work being added.

Thursday, February 22, 2018 – Painting Sessions:

1 to 4 p.m. Gallery 50 – 50 W. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17268. Gallery 50 Curator and Director Marjorie Tressler will be conducting an oil painting session for those seeking to improve their painting and drawing skills covering oil, acrylic, and drawing with live demonstrations from the students’ perspective.
