Music Makers was created in collaboration between Destination ARTS! and the Cumberland Valley School of Music. The space will provide a unique location for music forums, workshops, classes, jam sessions, and live performances in Waynesboro, PA.

Every Friday evening from 5:30-8 p.m., Destination ARTS! hosts a free performance of the region’s most talented musicians at 46 West Main Street in Wednesday. Every week brings a new variety of musical genres – from piano rock, acoustic folk, jazz, and bluegrass. Check out the calendar to see who’s performing.
Area musicians wishing to develop their songwriting skills meet on the first Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Music Makers to share the results of their writing exercises. Contact Jonathan Ingels at jkingels@gmail.com for more information.
First and third Wednesdays of the month from 6-9 p.m., area artists are invited to participate in an Open Mic or Jam Session at Music Makers. Those not inclined to perform are very welcome to observe and support the musicians. All musical styles are welcome and a sound system and electric stage piano will be provided. The sessions are free and are facilitated by Brad Munn.
Join our Community Book Club on the first Sunday of each month from 1:30-3:30 p.m. to discuss popular literature at Gallery 50/Music Makers. No dues are required and all community members are welcome! It is up to all book club members to acquire their own books and have read them before the meeting.

Join the Artists’ Connection on the second Monday of every month for their next meeting. The group is open to all artists and those passionate about the arts. The meeting serves as an opportunity to share ideas, discuss art and the newest techniques you have learned, mentor younger artists, and generally inspire one another. Writers of all genres are welcome to join the monthly Writer’s Forum on the first Wednesday of each month from 5-7 p.m. at 32 West Main Street. Participants will share share contributions that usually pertain to a selected subject. After the initial ‘round and round’ contributors can share works on other subjects – be it prose, memoirs, or story-telling. Visitors are welcome as well as ideas for future meetings.
